Live in the moment

Now, yesterday, and tomorrow words on blackboard, Time concept.

At times all we need to do is be present. Be aware of the now. Don’t think back to what had happened yesterday or even think about what’s going to happen tomorrow. Be alive today and cherish it because time is the one thing which we’re never going to be able to stop.

The society in which we live today is very future orientated. We’re constantly looking into the future thinking about what our lives will look like, what new car were going to drive or what mobile phones we’re going to be using in ten years time. Steve jobs once said “My favourite things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.”

As well as looking into the future we’re also fixated on looking into the past. We reminisce about the “good times”. Times when we went on holidays with our families, when we shared a few laughs with our friends and times when we were just overjoyed with happiness.

You see, each and everyday we’re either thinking about the future or the past. But we’re very rarely focused on the now. From now on make it your mission to be more aware of the present and really take in the moment. Remember time is precious so don’t waste it thinking about what had already happened. And for those of you out there who enjoy looking into the future. I want you to go into the future, visualize what you want to achieve. And then I want you to go back into the present and take the necessary steps in order to turn your dream into a reality.
