There is something you could be doing at any given time to better yourself. If you “need a break” from working toward your main goal, work toward another goal. Learn something new.
At the end if your life you can only see where you end up. You can’t see the time you spent sitting still. So your life is only an accumulation of the times that were spent moving forward.
Now ask yourself the pertinent question: how much of your life do you want to be defined by inactivity? Actually ask yourself. One hour a day? Two?
You should work to better yourself as a person constantly. Make your breaks worthwhile instead of just passing time.
It’s likely that the hobbies you pick up in these times will impact you greatly in the future, and maybe even help toward achieving your main goal. If you focus on constantly progressing, then you can ensure that you are improving every single day, and eventually you will run into massive success like this.
